The 6-Day Jungle Survival Package is an experience itinerary designed for people who like challenges and are interested in having an immersion in the middle of the Amazon rainforest.

There will be 5 days of camping in the jungle, lots of fishing with riverside techniques, night focus, conversation about medicinal plants, fruit picking, bird watching, visiting the community and much more.

The experience in the jungle starts from the 2nd day of the itinerary, basic survival notions will be taught and conversations take place along the trails in the woods near the Dolphin Lodge in Cariri. Adventurers will have the opportunity to learn how to build their own camp, obtain food of animal and plant origin, water and fire.

Basic Chalet:
Room located on dry land, one double bed and one single bed, private bathroom, no hot water, fan, mosquito net and balcony overlooking the river.

Superior Chalet:
Room located on dry land, one double bed and one single bed, private bathroom, no hot water, air conditioning, mosquito net and balcony overlooking the river.

Basic Bungalow:
Room on stilts (lowland forest), one double bed and one single bed, private bathroom, no hot water, fan, mosquito net and balcony overlooking the river.

Superior Bungalow:
Room on stilts (lowland forest), one double bed and one single bed, private bathroom with hot water, air conditioning, mosquito net and balcony overlooking the river.

1st DAY: (Dolphin Lodge)
08:00 AM - Departure from Manaus (airport or hotel) to the
Port of Ceasa.
08:30 AM - Arriving at the Port of Ceasa, transfer by speedboat to the Careiro community, with a short stop at the Meeting of the Waters to take pictures.
09:00 AM - Transfer by kombi or minibus to the Mamorí river. Along the way there is a stop to take pictures of the aquatic plant Waterlily (Vitória Régia).
10:00 AM - Embark on a speedboat with the opportunity to see birds, alligators, and other animals.
10:30 AM - Arrival at the Dolphin Lodge.
12:00 PM - Lunch.
03:00 PM – Canoe trip to discover the area and see dolphins in their natural habitat (without interacting with them).
07:00 PM - Dinner
2nd DAY: (Tracaja Lake)
07:00 AM - Breakfast.
08:00 AM – Departure from the lodge in a motor canoe to the Tracaja lake. Arriving at the headwaters, set up the camp and spend the night in the jungle.
3rd DAY: (Tracaja Lake)
06:00 AM - Breakfast.
07:00 AM - Jungle hike with a local guide, where you will learn more about the wildlife and biodiversity.
03:00 PM – Hiking in other areas.
07:00 PM - Dinner.
08:00 PM - Fishing with harpoon.
4th DAY: (Tracaja Lake)
06:00 AM - Breakfast.
07:00 AM - Canoe ride to see birds and fishing for lunch.
12:00 PM - Lunch. After lunch rest in hammocks.
03:00 PM - Walk to see medicinal plants with explanations.
07:00 PM - Dinner (barbecue on the riverbank).
08:00 PM - Alligator spotting and watching no cturnal animals.
5th DAY: (Tapagem Lake)
06:00 AM - Breakfast.
07:00 AM - Change the camp to the Tapagem lake.
12:00 PM - Lunch. After lunch rest in hammocks.
03:00 PM - Visit a Caboclo house (local family) to learn about their customs.
07:00 PM - Dinner.
08:00 PM - Canoe ride to see nocturnal birds.
6th DAY: (Dolphin Lodge)
06:00 AM - Breakfast.
06:30 AM - Return to the Dolphin Lodge.
12:00 PM - Lunch.
01:30 PM - Return to Manaus, by thesame route, arriving at 04:00 PM.

Transfer in:
• Hotel in Manaus (08:00 AM) => Dolphin Lodge (11:00 AM).
• Hotel in Manaus (12:00 PM) => Dolphin Lodge (03:00 PM).
• Manaus airport (Pick up upon flight arrival, as long as it arrives between 08:00 AMand 04:00 PM).
Transfer out:
• Dolphin Lodge (08:00 AM) => Airport or Hotel in Manaus (11:00 AM).
• Dolphin Lodge (10:00 AM) => Airport or Hotel in Manaus (01:00 PM).
• Dolphin Lodge (01:30 PM) => Airport or Hotel in Manaus (04:30 PM).
Notes:
• There is no transport at night for security reasons.
• It is not allowed to stop at sights, restaurants, and other places during the transfers. Only the path described in the package will be carried out.

• Please take the minimum luggage possible to facilitate the transfer. It is recommended to bring 10 kilos per person. You can store the excess luggage at the agency in Manaus. No charge of deposit.
• There’s free Wi-Fi available only at the restaurant. There is no phone signal in that area.
• Meal times:
Breakfast: 07:00 AM to 07:40 AM.
Lunch: 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM.
Dinner: 07:00 PM to 08:00 PM.
• Tours are conducted in groups. The maximum of people per guide is 8. The hotel’s capacity is 30 people.
• It is not possible to swim with dolphins, because they are not domesticated in that region.
• Electricity 24 hours in the rooms (110 volts).
• Flood period: April to August.
• Drought period: September to March.
• The bungalow rooms are over the river only during the river's flood season (April to August).
• While visiting a local family, it is recommended to give them a tip or gifts for the children, such as toys and school supplies.
